Product Description
LWGYML series intelligent liquid turbine flow meter is a new type of intelligent instrument with integrated turbine flow sensor and display product calculation developed by advanced ultra-low power single-chip microcomputer technology, which has obvious advantages such as compact mechanism, clear reading, high reliability, undisturbed by external power supply, lightning resistance and low cost.
Application
Turbine flowmeter is widely used in the following measurement objects: petroleum, organic liquid, inorganic liquid, liquefied gas, natural gas, coal gas and cryogenic fluid. In foreign countries, liquefied petroleum gas, refined oil and light crude oil are used for trade settlement in the first and last stations of large crude oil pipelines. In Europe and the United States, turbine flowmeter is second only to orifice flowmeter, while in the Netherlands alone, more than 2,600 turbine flowmeters with various sizes and pressures ranging from 0.8MPa to 6.5MPa have been used in natural gas pipelines, and they have become excellent natural gas flowmeters. Although the excellent metering characteristics of turbine flowmeter are favored by people, it gives people the impression that it is made up of moving parts and has a short service life, so it is inevitable to hesitate when choosing them.
Working Principle
Turbine Flow Meter is a volumetric measuring turbine type. The flowing fluid engages the rotor causing it to rotate at an angular velocity proportional to the fluid flow rate.
The angular velocity of the rotor results in the generation of an electrical signal (AC sine wave type) in the pickup. The summation of the pulsing electrical signal is related directly to total flow.
The frequency of the signal relates directly to flow rate. The vaned rotor is the only moving part of the flow meter.
Features
- High accuracy, usually reach ±1%R,±0.5%R,or even reach ±0.2%R for high-precision type.
- Good repeatability, it can reach 0.05%-0.2% in short term, if regular calibration or online calibration can get an extremely high accuracy, so it is preferred in foreign trade.
- Pulse signal output, it is suitable for totalizer measurement and computer connection, no zero drift,strong capacity of resisting disturbance.
- High frequency signal(3-4KHz), strong signal resolution.
- Wide range, middle and big diameter can reach 1:20, and small diameter can reach 1:10.
- Compact structure, easy installation and maintenance.
